About Working Mama Collective
Hi there! I’m Karla (she/her), the founder of Working Mama Collective. My own journey returning back to work after three children inspired me to create this community where we can support and uplift each other. Having spent my childbearing years working in tech start-ups and scale-ups, being thrown into a world of change after returning from leave was the norm. But for the last one, my maternity leave was bookended by company lay-offs, specifically impacting my team and direct reports. It was the most challenging and tumultuous return.
Even in the best of times, transitioning back from leave can already be a complicated process, fraught with intense emotions and stress. I believe that every working mom deserves to pursue her passions and ambitions while nurturing a fulfilling family life. Through Working Mama Collective, I am committed to providing a platform where you can find encouragement, emotional resilience strategies, and a supportive network of fellow working moms.
Join me on this empowering journey as we navigate the complexities of modern motherhood together. I look forward to connecting with you and being part of your growth and success as a working mama.
