I’m Valentina, a passionate Birth and Postpartum Doula dedicated to supporting families through the beautiful journey of parenthood. Born and raised near Treviso, Italy, my life took me from the serene landscapes of Italy to the cultural heart of Vienna, Austria. It was in Vienna that I met my wonderful husband, Marco, a Dutchman, and in 2012, we settled in the charming town of Hilversum.
As a mother of three, I understand firsthand the deep impact of early years experiences.
With over 20 years in early years education and care, I have seen how critical these formative moments are.
My belief is that the way we enter this world and the support mothers receive during childbirth shape not only the immediate bond between parent and child but also future generations.

I’m Joanna, a devoted mother of two boys, wife, and passionate Birth, Postpartum and Family (Sibling) Doula in Training, currently working towards full certification. My journey into the world of birth work began with my own pregnancies, where I experienced two beautiful births – one at home and one in a hospital. These profound experiences ignited my desire to support others through their unique birthing journeys.
As a Doula, I provide personalized, holistic and nurturing support throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum, ensuring you feel cared for and understood. My mission is to offer the tools and guidance that allow you to connect with your inner strength and achieve a fulfilling birth experience, whether you’re welcoming your first baby or expanding your family.
Having lived as an expat, I understand the challenges of navigating pregnancy far from home and your usual support network. I’m here to help you feel prepared, confident, and supported every step of the way.
Originally from Poland, I’ve lived in Dublin, New York, and Amsterdam with my Brazilian husband, and we now call Hilversum home. I’m fluent in Polish, English, and Portuguese, and I serve families in the Hilversum area (+20km).
Whether you seek support during pregnancy, guidance through labor, or nurturing care in the postpartum period, I am dedicated to being a steady and compassionate presence for you and your family as you embark on this incredible journey.
