This Breastfeeding Preparation Class is a group meeting offering you a 2-hour thorough introduction to breastfeeding – so that you walk away with more than simply the basics. There’s so much more to it than simply (breast)feeding your baby: breastfeeding can be enjoyable for you and baby!
The class is conducted in English by Marieke van Luin of Mamma Minds, an experienced IBCLC Lactation consultant.
The magic of breastfeeding your LO is to know how to avoid pain and how to adjust the positioning when you breastfeed your LO. Marieke wants to share with you all you need to know about how to ensure a successful start to breastfeeding. And even so important, how to keep it going in a pleasant, enjoyable way and pain free way!
→ When to join?
You are welcome to join as soon as questions start to arise. Partners are also more than welcome, so that they can be the best possible support! It is recommend to join no later than 37 weeks if possible.
→ How much does it cost?
The Breastfeeding preparation class is 35Euros all included with partner. Payment in cash or via bank transfer prior to the event.

About Marieke van Luin – Mamma Minds
Working with women, babies and families, in a period when their lives undergo more changes than at any other time, has always been a passion of mine. As a midwife, I was always inspired by how different it can be, for each woman, to find a way in the ‘maternal forest’. To become a mother is an amazing, life changing, never ending story. I feel privileged to support women during this precious phase in their lives. It is important for each woman to find her own way of giving birth and becoming a mother. Providing the care and information that she needs on this journey is the most important part of my role. Over time, my role has expanded from being a midwife to an all-round breastfeeding counselor IBCLC regarding breastfeeding in order to provide the best care for each family.
